چکیده

In order to carry out experimental studies of the process cutting highly abrasive materials with reinforced wheels, a dynamometer stand for registering force load author's design KNUCA was modified, which made it possible conduct full-fledged taking into account all valid factors interaction working environment and body during supply water zone dedust The use refractory bricks is proposed as environment, wheel strength up 60MPa used body. As result research conducted dynamometric registration study an wheel, tangential forces that perform work destruction overcoming friction between side surfaces material were analytically determined. According results theoretical studies, established limits change in resistance cutting, determined natural installation (refractories) laboratory stand, are same, nature their also similar related by similarity coefficient.
check adequacy calculations, temporary uniaxial compression rock σв=60 MPa carried on stand. fully confirm comparison determining showed sufficient convergence and, accordingly, legitimacy using analytical expressions when calculating power parameters machines tool. maximum value error theoretically experimentally bench recording wheels Δδ=13,8%.

Test Parameter Analysis in Abrasive Jet Cutting of Rocklike Materials

This paper contains investigations on the behavior of five artificial rocklike materials subjected to abrasive water jet cutting. The influence of the test parameters, i.e. applied pump pressure, traverse rate and abrasive mass flow rate was investigated, as well as the influence of several material parameters, e.g. compressive strength, Young's modulus, absorbed fracture energy and crack veloc...

Preliminary Results of Experimental Cutting of Porcine Bones by Abrasive Waterjet

Prikaz stanja The first medical applications of this technology were published in the eighties of the last century [1], when a jet of water [6, 7, 8, 9] was used for cutting soft tissues [1, 2]. There are currently no available relevant studies exploring in detail the use of abrasive waterjet cutting in orthopaedic surgery for the implantation and re-implantation of total hip and for knee repla...

Emission Factors for Abrasive Materials

Abrasive blasting materials, such as coal slag garnet and copper slag, are often used for cleaning metal surfaces to remove rust and to prepare a surface before the application of a coating. The pre-blast and post-blast (spent) abrasive materials contain traces of heavy metal constituents such as Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb Fe, and Ba. Hence, the health risk associated with the resultant particulate emissio...

Surface Texture in Abrasive Waterjet Cutting

When cutting thick material with an abrasive wateriet, the surface area can be characterized by two texture types. At the top of the cut, the surface texture is smooth. At the bottom, the slurry jet exiting the workpiece forms large striations in the surface. An investigation was conducted to experimentafly determine the influence of the abrasive waterjet cutting parameters on surface texture. ...
